The guy that bought the white demo I had drove, had the roof done in black and it was in the dealers when it was done. Two guys from some company done it there, and it looked really good, like it was built like that.:)

Reckon its just dirt not a mark on wheel itself. Does appear to be missing the centre cap though.

The caps come separately in a bag in the boot, the dealer will put them on when they prep the car :)

My car also had black marks on the alloy I think its just transportation dirt.

Picking my car up today at 10am. 16 weeks from date of order. Will be going over it with a very fine tooth comb too. Checklist of Wheels, skirts & bumper/bonnet for stone chips, wings & doors for dents ( they park them so close together), door edges, etc, etc. Think I will be there for a while and will spend at least 30 mins just checking the car for any marks. Doubt I'll be popular at the dealers but I don't care. Part of the reason people buy new cars is that they want them to be as perfect as can be. I haven't even let my dealer prep and clean my car, as I don't trust there valeters not to use sponges/brushes, so will be doing this myself.

I went into Seat Star City a few weeks ago and I saw there dumb ass valater jet washing inside the door frames and then opened the boot and done the same with that. Shocked wasnt the word, the sales man was telling me just before I saw it how careful there valaters are when I saw it my jaw hit the floor he then went onto say yh its best you dont look at that. Im sure he would have had words afterwoods

I have complained to Seat CS about the seats and currently got an open case regarding them. Just waiting for a phone call back this week.

I've just had another look at the configurator and there's no mention of logos on the leather seats anymore, only on the buckets.

Spotted another mistake in the brochure, too. It says there should be an ESC button, but it's not fitted in UK cars. You have to go into the settings in the head unit to turn it off.

It's to stop the missus pressing it by mistake, and then losing it on the first bend and writing your motor off.

Mate its amazing! From what little I've driven it. Only done 12 miles so far as spent the last two days detailing it. Finally finished now but can't drive it yet as the sealant I've put on the leather takes 24 hrs to cure properly. Going on a road trip tomorrow to start running it in a bit and will take some pics to upload. Here's a cheeky one of the side skirts though as a teaser.

I was always under the impression that leather car seats have a coating on them already and that stops any treatments being absorbed properly?

edit: looks very shiny!

I know they're coated in something and also dyed. I've used Gtechniq L1 which is a nano-sealant and excellent stuff for protecting your leather. I won't even start to go into what I've used on the exterior of the car, it'll take a while and probably bore you to death but the paintwork has 6 layers on which include Polish, Glaze, Sealant and Carnauba Wax. Will show off just how shiny it is in some pictures soon.

How are you finding the twin? Think they're missing each other yet? :-D
