Well, the Leon has landed:) She will be at the dealers on the 21st and they will get her all shipshape and make sure she is in perfect working order for me to pick up on the 26th!!!! Then I get to pick a registration and Irene has promised me that they will check everything before hand over. I am an excited little bunny!!! lol!!!

Was yours a week 39 build? I'm surprised it's taking so long to have them delivered from dock.

My dealer told me they only get 24 hours notice of when the car gets delivered to them.

OK so I am in Spain but I ordered a 1.4 TSI SE (called a Style here) on 30th September and it is being delivered on the 4th November. Admittedly there are no boat trips involved!

Can't wait!

Well it was always promised for end of October and I knew that so no harm. They did my PCP to take that into account so I have one more payment for my Golf and that has been the factor. If I had stamped my feet I know I could have had it a lot earlier but good things come to those who wait.:)

I wish I knew when my car will ready.

I have had to phone/ call in to the dealers to find out anything. Bit disapionted with updates from the dealers.
I know it was built in week 38, I found out it was in transit last week and when I called in the dealers on Monday I was told it was in port.
I just what to know when I can drive it!

That's shocking, have you tried calling Seat? I'm pretty sure week 39 cars are being delivered to customers already. Week 40 cars are in UK ports already.

Nick if yours was built week 38 then it's a disgrace you've not got it yet! Mine was built week 39 and I picked it up exactly a week ago tomorrow! Get on that phone lol

Swahealy I'm excited your time has nearly come lol! I feel we've been in this since the start (even if I did beat you on my LA surprise ;) )

Also nice to see that everyone from when I started the thread is close to getting their cars :D

Try calling SEAT UK, they always seem to be able to give more up to date information than my dealer could. My dealer says that their system only gets updated once a week. Mine was a build week 40, my dealer says it is in transit but SEAT UK told me it is on the Galicia which is docking in Sheerness today.
If yours is a week 38 maybe it is on the same ship.

Well before I could do anything, I had a phone call at 8.30 this morning from the dealers. My Leon is all ready and we can pick it up today!
I may need to wait until tomorrow morning due to work commitments.
The next 24 hour will be a long wait.

Hooray!! My baby arrived at the dealers today!!:) So I will go and sign the finance documents tomorrow and will still pick it up next Saturday as they want to to make sure everything works and she looks right for handover. At least I will see her tomorrow and see how the metallic Montsant red stacks up!!!
I know that waiting another week may seem like purgatory but Irene at the dealer is a stickler for handing over a car in superb condition!! All is good!!!! :)

Just heard today that my (week 39 build) Monsoon Grey TSI1.8 DSG FR 5-door Leon transported from Barcelona to Sheerness on the LAudace, will be delivered to the dealer on Monday 21st October, so I should be able to collect it (my first-ever SEAT) some time before the end of next week!
