Oke, so I have wrote an e-mail to Seat Romania (as we do not have a phone number) and to my amazement I got a reply 10 minutes later saying that the car has entered Romania and is on it's way to the dealer later this week. 
This is greeeeaaat news! If I will receive the car this week I promise I will make such an extended review of every knob and switch that you guys will get bored reading.

Just phones SEAT CS and they've confirmed that my car has just arrived in Sheerness
Exciting times! Enjoy it. I'm very jealous as I still have a long wait and am not patient. Going to be very hard, so need to find a distraction.

Now I just contacted the dealer to tell me an estimated pick-up date and am still waiting for the reply!
I hope to be able to pick it up by the end of this week from the bottom of my heart.

Probably takes them two days to do the PDI and prepare the car for sale (i.e. inflict swirl marks over your nice new paintwork).
Delivery is in the hands of the transporter firm. It also takes a day to unload the ship as each car is driven off individually and the ships hold more than a thousand. Then as you say PDI etc.
I'm hoping by some stroke of luck I'll have mine by the weekend, but more likely sometime next week.

Fingers crossed you get it for the weekend. Out of interest, when did you place your order? Must be one of the first customer cars in the UK?
No chance I need more time to do the modifications first, pink furry dice, eyelashes and fresian cow wrap.
I have just called a seat CS and they have confirmed that my car is built and at the port in Barcelona. He said that is should be loaded and shipped this week, but could not confirm which ship / date.
Have any of the ship watchers know what ships are due to leave Barcelona port this week? Typically my current car tax runs of end of this month and in I am two minds whether to get 6 months or gamble that my car will be at the dealers and ready by end of March.
I have on order a Leon ST, ordered on the 18th Jan.
