I swear my dealer isnt the sharpest tool in the shed.
I got my finance docs through today with the wrong car on it - the VIN number was correct but the model on the document was wrong.
I had already sent off the licence and proof of address which he then asks for again and every time I ask about collection date, he just point blank ignores me!
At least when it was on a boat, I knew where it was and what was going on.....

Hoh yes, just paid the rest of the moneys and car will be ready early next week (build wk11) !!

While I was there they also JUST got a 2.0TDI FR for test drives so I gave it a spin. To be completely honest, compared to TSI I wasnt too impressed with speed/acc, not sure if it was the rev range or something idk.

Got myself a registration mark.
According to the dealer (so not sure whether to believe it or not) it is now on a truck. So hope for the La Surprise crowd

I really hope your dealer is right - did they mention how long it takes to get delivered, mine just keeps saying that they have been "getting delivered pretty quick recently"

No clue as to delivery. The truck could be going to a number of dealers, and no idea in which order they will be delivered, or even if its fully loaded and ready to go.
Also, the dealership is one of a multi franchise chain, which has its own dedicated PDI centre. So the car will be delivered there to fight for a PDI with all the Chryslers, Mercedes, Mazdas and Skodas etc, before being delivered to the dealer proper.

I'm thinking as i ordered in Jan i won't get one, but girlfriend is saying don't sign papers until i get it
We'll see what happens on Friday when i go to sign finance. I expect pickup next week!

I ordered my ibiza fr from Stockport lookers and am expecting it next week too! Went to sign the papers today and I should have the ipad too! Apparently they post it but the guy didn't know much about the deal, what do you know about it??

We got a leaflet with the deal on in Feb, it basically states order your new car for March registration before 28th of Feb and receive a Apple Ipad Mini on collection of your new car, as a special thank you for your loyalty.
Small print says order before 28th of feb and register before 31st of March.
I emailed dealer/salesman yesterday about it and his email back said the following
"IPads arent available on collection but will be sorted by the end of April"
Hopefully that's means we'll get them sent out in April to us once they tally up all the people that mention it to them instead of actually buying them for the people that should have them

I am too it's a great freebie!
Mine is still stuck at port and hauler is being vague with my dealer who is trying to get them to firm up a day. They are being told "Possibly Wed or Thu next week, but won't commit"
