Hi Everyone, first post here but have been reading for a few weeks. I ordered my Mk3 Leon 5Door FR 150 TDI DSG on March 8th. The dealer said it would probably take about 12 weeks. Got a call this week saying its being manufactured in Week 16 and should be at the dealer 2 weeks after that. So new car at the start of May not June. Getting very excited now.

Quick update after speaking to my dealer today...
He seems quite sure that we are still working towards mid May delivery, and he doesn't seem to think there will be any delays. Ordered on Feb 14th, so around 12 weeks. I've heard that some orders are being told to expect to wait up to 16 weeks. Hopefully mine won't be late, since my Qashqai has developed a distinct judder through the clutch on pulling away I suspect an imminent failure on the cards. Apparently a common issue on Qashqais and one I am keen to avoid! The sooner the Leon arrives the better! Clutch replacement at 22k miles is something I could definitely do without! Especially so close to ditching the blooming thing. My first and last Nissan, that's for sure!

On track for April 22nd ish for a timeline of about 9 weeks I think

Why do Oldham's David Cook motors love taking the biscuit when it comes to ordering a car?? My friend has waiting over 4 weeks for his leon and now they said it's being updated and it should be here this month.... He was told he only had to wait 9 days

Gave my dealer a call yesterday, but he didn't know much, only thing he knew was that the cars, ordered the same period as mine, are being delivered and it shouldn't be too long anymore.. Hopefully next week or the week after. Ordered 31st Jan, an ST FR 184 DSG. Estimated delivery: mid April so I think/hope they are on schedule..

Why do Oldham's David Cook motors love taking the biscuit when it comes to ordering a car?? My friend has waiting over 4 weeks for his leon and now they said it's being updated and it should be here this month.... He was told he only had to wait 9 days

Hi mate, I've order my Leon from here and been told build week 17 and should be here way before I collect on the 28th may. Tell your friend if they can't answer his questions to ring seat customer care.

Mines on the ship, due in Monday next week probably. Seat quote up to 7 days to dealer then they have to tax it then deliver it (5-7 days)
