Mines confirmed for delivery 30/04 between 1-5pm. Can't wait! Scirocco goes on Sunday to an eager buyer so it's all worked out quite nicely!

Just phoned Seat CC and the ship that was due to dock on Wednesday, was delayed and will dock tomorrow. They said my car should be at my dealers in Oldham some time week starting 5th May.

Week 17 is this week though ins't it? Or have I got that wrong? Seems pretty quick to get it on a ship the same week it is built?

Mine is a confirmed week 18 build so was expecting it to be built next week. Worried now that I may have my week numbers wrong.

This is week 17, at least according to the dealer, my calendar and MS Excel. However my car was a week 16 build and I got a call Monday this week (week 17) saying it was already in the country, so they do work and ship fast.

The factory is connected to the port via a train line which will take no time really and if the ship is in port then that'll happen quickly. I guess it just depends on how lucky you are during shipping and if the car is built at the beginning or end of the week.

Great news mate. That makes sense mine was built the week before and they are saying I should be able to collect it next week.

Sports mode Daz, although I see you have already been told that. I thought that was such a waste of time until I saw it in the test drive any really liked it. Can't wait to get mine and start playing.

If I'm honest when I added the extra I wasn't exactly sure where or what it was but it was an 'extra' and not too expensive so I winged it. Obviously I'm well happy!!!

Mine is a confirmed week 18 build so was expecting it to be built next week. Worried now that I may have my week numbers wrong.

My dealer told me, the factory work week is Thursday to Thursday lol, and was told build week 17 which was 17th may. so I am guessing they maybe ahead if the ship was due in to the UK on Wednesday. But a delay pushed it back to tomorrow.

Finally got an update from my dealer.my car will be a 15 plate so will be a delay while they change from 14 to 15 with some new options available been told earliest build week will be 22.one good thing is that i should be able to add bucket seats because these will be available now

Do you mean a 2015 spec? as a 15 plate would not be out till march next year.

Haha! And I thought I'd waited a long time for delivery! Wouldn't fancy waiting til March 2015...

I take it the dealer was referring to model year, not Numberplates...

What date did you place your order mate? I placed mine on 2nd April and still haven't heard anything from my dealer with regards to a build date. Was gonna order the Recaro's on mine but they weren't available at the time so hoping I may be able to sneak them on now.

sorry for confusion i meant model change not plate change.i ordered mine on 20th march dealer says there our some other options available no more colors though .he said something about a kit which adds white trim and mirrors .im sure he said buckets will be heated and will cost 1200 i will have to pay this upfront with my deposit if they can add them.i too really wanted the bucket seats .

I really wanted the buckets too, but not at 1200 quid! Should be standard on a Cupra as they are part of the cars identity. Shall not feel too hard done by now I know how much extra they are. I am too tight to pay that much extra.
