@yellowcone. My comments were not specifically aimed at you mate and I'm sorry if you felt they were. I was merely expressing a general opinion and urging patience but in hindsight posting when I did, just after you probably was poor timing.
You have indeed had a raw deal and I agree with you 100% that if nothing else a dealer should tell the truth. If they cocked up and didn't place my order, I would forgive that if they were honest with me. You were clearly lied to, that is unacceptable!

Car ordered 19 March. Picking it up on Friday which I reckon to be just a couple of days over 9 weeks from order to collection.

Nice one! Looks like there's a bunch of us taking delivery now. I have still yet to see one on the road though.
I've not seen a Cupra on the road yet either. Glad you guys will be in your new cars soon though, enjoy! ;-)

Not a happy bunny. Just been contacted by Seat and told my Cupra is now not being built until build week 25 which is week commencing 16th June with delivery expected towards the end of July. Disappointing seen as I was told the other week that I could expect delivery last week of June

Took the plunge today and ordered a ST Leon FR with the 184 engine and a few options. Expected delivery is said to be 30th June. Should I believe the dealer or not!
I got a call on Saturday to say my 1.4 FR, ordered 4 April, was now built and waiting to be shipped over to the UK. Had a call from him tonight to say it had arrived in the dealership. He was more surprised than I was it was there! Shame I'm on holiday and can't pick it up until next Friday!!
If that's a factory order, then I vote not!
You might be lucky, but that seems a little far fetched in my experience.
Its a factory order, so maybe I should take the dealers and my details of my order with a pinch of salt!

12 weeks seems to be the general thing they tell you. Some people have been lucky and got them early but others have had to wait longer. Think it's just the luck of the draw mate but end of June seems highly unrealistic.

I have seen one on the road though I must admit it was ours when the misses drove off for a quick spin.
