Hey guys. Looking to find out some sort of residual value of the Leon after 3 years and 30k miles (or similar)

Are we expecting good values? Car buyer seem to think it holds well as does What Car. I added a few options to my FR and was told by dealer that it would increase the resale value if I was to trade in after 36 months.

Has anyone had the previous Leon on pcp and been a bit stung when the contract length is up and went to trade in?

Cheers guys
Craig.

options are never worth much at all come resale , they just make it easier to sell.

i reckon 8-9k after 3 years

GFV are currently calculated as ~45% after 3 years. Of course, the real trade-in value in 3 years time may be somewhat different, dependant on how good/bad the Leon proves to be and whether SEAT have dumped thousands of them into the fleet market.

I wonder what the value will be for mine at 3yrs old - 150 TDI FR with all but the driver pack ticked, a year old last Sunday and 36k on the clock!

A stick of rock in two years time for the closest guess :)

Sent from my piece of shite iPhone - according to Muz.

Gfv on my 184 FR is £11,500 after 36 months, with 20k miles per year.

What would we be expecting a trade in? Just slightly more than the GMV Or a good few £K for a deposit for another?

Diesel definitely higher than petrol then, I've had PCP quotes on a Cupra, after 36 months and 15k PA the GFV is approx £10,500... Pretty sure they'll be going for more mind you, as 3 year old Cupra's now fetch more than that.

Agree with Rob

My GFV on the 280 with 15K miles PA is around the £10,300 mark. Hoping it will be more but you never know!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep in mind that the residual values in PCP quotes are usually underestimated (below the actual cap/glasses estimation) to give you some capital to play with if you come to trade it in when the PCP term is up, so unless there has been a crash in car prices it will always be worth more than that come trade in time. I used to work in a software house that did car finance calculations so I know all about that :p.

I'm on my Third PCP Leon now.

My last GFT was £8,300 and i was offered £10,000 by the dealer. Ended up paying the GFT for Girlfriend and she now drives it.
Others have always given me enough of a deposit to keep me around the same monthly.
Doing above and selling privately is always going to rep more cash.
Looking at ours we expected dealer to stick it on fore court for £12,000

I've always had FR TDI's 2 * 170s and now a 184.

1.8FR dsg with most options on a 6k p/a 36 month PCP the GFV was a little over 10k.
