External temperature gauge

I think my external temp gauge has gone to tell me the outside tmep etc coz the dial read all zero’s this affects the heating cooling coz I either have full hot or full cold nothing between, in summer not to bad but winter is a pain when windows steam up etc,
Im sure ive seen someone selling replacement gauges on here but carnt find it for the life of me can some one lead me in the right direction?

Also the hole computer screen thing has randomly been going blank and back to life again whilst driving, Is the hole unit on the blink or could it be a fuse etc on its way?

my screen does that too, i just give it a tap every now and then and it comes back on fine!

and this nis the part number for the sensor: 6K0 919 379 should be about 20 squid from seat

basically its a case of snipping the old sensor wires and re-soldering the new one in place
