I fit mine recently but noticed it makes a strange noise when operating it. I first thought it was because I had tightened up the wiper too much. However, today I removed the retaining 13mm bolt and the noise was still there implying it was coming from the spindle. I added some oil but still making a screech all be it less loud now. Maybe the oil needs to work the thread more before it disappears. The standard wiper did not make this noise before I removed it.Has anybody else noticed this or have a solution?

glad you got it sorted mate.

As per my website though - be aware that they seem to either change part number(s) or choose to supply the wrong ones. I think its because you order 2 hatchback parts and 1 estate part (or whatever) and they "assume" that its being fitted to one or the other and send ALL estate or ALL hatchback parts instead.

I can't change my sig, it only allows you about 3 lines now, so it wouldn't fit on !!!

ps - I'll post the part numbers from my invoice so you can update your site mate (but i think there 99% right anyways)

I fitted one to mine about a month ago now. Had the Touran rear wiper on at first but that started making a loud noise shortly after fitting when it was used.

The part numbers on mine are:

Cap (Fabia hatch) 6Y0 955 435
Arm (Fabia Estate) 6Y9 955 704A
Blade (Fabia Estate) 6Y0 955 425

All were in stock at Skoda in Sheffield when I went in. Just told the parts guy that they were going on a SEAT Leon and he knew exactly what I needed and was only £20.20p
