Hey

Went down to 2 local seat dealers, neither could get me a Black Cupra without waiting AT LEAST 3 months. Both needed an order from me before they could tell me when and if they could get a black one.

Apparently black ones aint been built till end of September, what's the point? why launch a brand new car and not have any ready to buy?

Apparently there's 2 white ones in the country, that's it.

Then spoke to david cooks in oldham, Gary is going to try find me one, but he also mentioned the 265bhp cupra r version, but doesnt have details, he said he would try find out some details about it and let me know.

FFS seat, get your act together, tell us what's going on and build some damn cars!!

I wanna buy a new car, a new cupra, but with the cloud over the cupra r version and the availability of black cupras, im likely to end up buying something else...

Rant over.. but has anyone had any luck in the uk buying a black or any other colour cupra?

My dealer said my cupra was meant to be built in July for August delivery but it seems that Seat changed the build slots. My car is now confirmed for build on Sept 1st as soon as the factory reopens and will be delivered near end September. Seems like they stopped producing cupras after the initial few and will be restarting production in September...producing a long wait for customers.

I got this letter from Seat UK to but when LC Charles phoned me up for a test drive they sent me the facelift brochure so it seems Seat UK dont realise they have had some brochures printed.
