Facelift LED rear clusters

Just bought some off a breakers for around £200. Now I need them coded in, heard a few people have done it and I've researched the forums on how, but it seems only dealers can do it?

I've phoned my local dealer and they dismissed that it can be done straight away, hoping there's anyone out here who can shed some light on this, heard about TPI codes at dealers etc... And using VCDS but I don't know anyone with this and I live in Cumbria.

Any info would greatly be appreciated.

From memory its dealer only as they need to contact Seat uk to send an update to update the control unit.
Don't fancy your chances at bristol street in Carlisle either.
Have you spoke to B&H motors I'm sure they're Workington though.
 
Oh god lol, just booked mine in with them, tried b and h, they just dismissed it altogether, you done it with yours? If so how haha? Or know of a dealer that definitely will do it, I don't mind travelling :)
 
Try contacting MJ on here. He works at David cook motors in Oldham, manchester, but I believe he has access to all the equipment personally. He's able to sort out the led rear clusters :)

Awesome, just looked him up but I can't seem to send him a pm, hopefully he can sort me out, do you know if he's got access to all the fancy bits, ie needle sweep and alarm beep etc...

I didn't ever do it to my car as the dealer was crap.
I'm surprised bristol street are playing ball, you'll need to keep us posted.
