bit of a question for you guys, basically i am on the verge of buying a fr tdi ibiza

heart is set on a red one, but they are not very common when doing the rounds

how much would it cost to get facelift rear and front bumpers on a pre facelift car? as i have seen the ideal facelift model but it is 11.5k, just wondering if i go for an older model and get the bumpers how much it would cost for the parts and fitting

Well as mine is one of the last pre facelift models out, on a 05 plate, and mine is worth around 7.5k id say it would cost alot less to get the facelift bumpers on tha prefacelift than buying that one.

Question is, the facelift also has different interior, alloys etc... overall is it worth it? If you were going to spend something like 11.5k then why not get a earlier cupra for 9k or so, and spend the rest on insurance!

can't afford the insurance and the car at the moment, looking for a new job but really want a new car tbh

i love the red facelift/cupra but there are very few about prefacelift, black looks nice as well and have seen a 55 plate not too far away for 9k with 15k on the clock

Black is a nightmare to keep clean, looks ace when clean tho.

You say you cant afford insurance on a cupra, but youd be spending near on 3k less on a early 04 cupra than forking out for a facelift FR! Your insurance wont be 3k more for a year, so atleast thats a years covered :)

seen one in sheff for 12k, went to grimsby dealer and they were talking book price but may have been because i was going finance

not sure what diff pay makes, doubt is that much and tbh i can afford about 10.5k max for the car
