Faint metallic rubbing at slow speed

Hi all, just seeking clarity on a bit of noise from what seems like the drivetrain on my LCR..

Running at slow speeds with the clutch up, I can hear a frequent metallic friction type noise from somewhere near the wheels - sounds like rubbing of two components and is happening once per revolution, if that makes sense (repetitions slow down as speed decreases).

With the clutch depressed, the noise stops. Any clues as to what this is likely to be? It seems like turning corners has no effect.

Thanks,

Alex

blimey, hope not, I had both replaced 6 months ago! My suspicion is a driveshaft but these are £50 each, so hoping it might be something cheaper...
