Hi, has anybody tried the falken ZE912, and have they any comments on their performance. Mixed reviews seen on searching the web mostly good but complaints about sidewall stiffness.

Contemplating changing from the Pirelli P Zero Neros as they are only lasting 7-8k on the front of the car. They appear to be wearing very quickly on the inside edge. I have had a 4 wheel alignment done and all is fine, it appears to be a common traight on the Cupra TDI.

Any thoughts would be good.

Thanks.

i havent tried those exact tyres but ive just had some Goodyear F1 Eagle GSD3's fitted, they had good reviews and weren't too expensive, slightly more than the falkens i think. So far they seem to be really good, stick in the dry and havent slipped out in the wet yet.....

ive just had the ze 912's put on the front of mine today so far so good, will let you know what i think in a few weeks/ when i get chance to give them a test, also of note theride doesnt seem as harsh so far.
desperately neede 2 new tyres and at £60 a corner cant moan to much.

Yep, mine wear on the inner even though the alignment is spot on.

Recently put 2 Toyos on the front at £55 each, only been on for a 1000 miles or so but seem fine, good grip in all weather, not sure how long they will last but we'll see

Tyres are wearing well with good grip in the dry.
Not very good in the wet as they let go very quickly.

There is always a trade off however.

I've got these on my Cupra, and they are very good so far, i don't track it so can't comment on them in that dept and as said before for 60 quid a corner they are a bargain!!!

Just got some for 43 a corner 205/55/16

swapping from the Falken 452's cos they have gone up to £50 from £43 lasted me well tho 18k... so why am I changing ?!?! well order is in now not much I can do.

I had 512's (205/40/17) on my last car and found them great in dry, weren't too reassuring in the wet though, had them let go a couple of times under heavy braking in the wet. However, when they did let go they were only about 500 miles old, seemed to improve over time.
