fan clatter

getting sick of this, on the way back from work the fan has started to make a clatter noise, anyone found this. I spose it cud be something like a leaf that has got sucked in, but the other cars in my family don't ever have this.aghhh!!!

Ive had a problem like this with the fan but its rather intermittent as if there is like a ratchet socket set, it will happen for a couple days then not a thing for a few weeks!

i think u cud be rite mate with thses ibizas. it will proly go tmr then come back as another noise somewhere else lol!! FFS!!

they dry out and disintegrate, then next year you get some more

now runnin at 200bhp
but a bit hard to see driving with the bonnet up tho

come to think of it

does anyone live round the west london area e.g. high wicombe and maidenhead as there were flash floods. I drove round these areas last weekend and must of sucked up loads of leaves. The sound seems to be coming from behind the glovebox.So u chaps reckon they will just disintegrate huh

behind the glovebox/in passenger footwell, is the pollen filter and the blower fan

if you remove the filter the leaves are accessible

make sure the fan is off...............fingers

mate how do i remove the filter?? and how do i get to it?
