HI,

My Leon mk2 has dual zone climate. Works fine when you start the car. All buttons do what they are supposed to do etc. After a while of driving though (half an hour ish), I've noticed that hardly any air comes out of the vents. I push the fan speed button to max, and I can hear the fan speed increase as it's supposed to do, but not much air comes out, even if I press the screen, dash or footwell buttons. I thought there may be a sticky flap inside somewhere (???), but wouldn't really know where to look:confused:. However, if I turn the ignition off, and restart the engine after 10 or 15 minutes, things seem to work again:), and then after half an hour or so, it does it again :(e.g. not much air no matter what the fan speed:confused.

Any ideas or similar experiences?

Cheers,

Hi,
I've not, no. But when the engine is first turned on, everything works completely fine, and it blasts air out in manual or auto mode. Put it to Auto, and then after a while, not much air comes out, even in manual max speed mode. It's as if there is a flap inside that is closing, but I've no idea how things are suposed to work under the dash.

Any one with any other ideas? I'm going to take it to Volkservice in Blackpool, but wondered if any one had any similar experiences?

I also have this problem... Rather annoying! Let me know how you get on...
