Fault code 16486 MAF related?

today i plugged my fault code reader in again after clearing the two codes i got, 16486 and 17695. I read that the 16486 was MAF related? could this cause power loss?

Also, i pulled over, disconnected the MAF and drove the car for about 3 miles, it made no differenmce to performance or the way the car run whatsoever? New MAF you think?

If it drives differently with the MAF disconnected it is assumed it's broke.
