fault code?

i have recently had a fault code on my leon 20v cupra t and i cant find it in my code book, its 01280, any ideas out there, all help would be much appreciated

so thats a cooling problem somewhere!! still cant find the 01280 code though,
more investigation needed i think, looks like i'll be busy for a while

i dont know if this is anything to do with my problem code but i have a loose coil pack, (#3 cylinder). it keeps poping up slightly and i have to keep pushing it back down (not every day though). the product # on these are 06b905115j. i have the chance of four from a cupra r 225 product # 06b905115g. will these be any good for me?

the only thing I can find for the fault code 01280 is passenger side air bag disabled?

i wonder if a baby seat has been fitted in the past????? i know some car company's do this if they dont have a manual disarm of front passenger air bags? that sounds like any easy fix if this is true

just been reading up on this, could be the wire under the passenger seat so just check that this in properly, make sure it is connected.

i'll check int morning, just need to sort out my little cooling problem now, and when i get time, i'll have to post all mods and "est bhp"

if someone has turned off the passenger air bag I dont know how they have done it without installing a switch, a switch needs to be fitted for insurance purposes, hopefully it has just worked it's self out of the connector and all will be sorted.

coolant sensor on the cards then matey, hope you sort the other fault out, clear the fault code after you have checked the wiring,

i was thinking of a set of either rs8's 18"s or golf gti turbo's, whats your thoughs on them??

if I had to be honest I would have to say none of them, but out of the 2 it would be the golf wheels, RS8's not my cup of tea.

do you know of any fitting problems and offset difference's. or in lay man's terms, will they bloody fit ok

unsure what year your cupra is ..... 51/52? 5 stud x100 et 35-42 o.k I think,golf will fit as long as they are 5 stud and the dimensions stated.

5 stud yes. year 01. wheels can wait, cooling system is top of my list at present, tomorrow i investigate. as i type, i'm looking for my deerstalker hat, pipe, and magnifying glass. its all elementery my dear watson!

Quite easily, it can be disabled in the adaptation tables with VAG COM etc.

Instructions etc how to do it in the workshop manuals.
