Favoured H7 bulb brand

Hi, I have one of the main / dip H7 bulbs gone and wondered if there was a favoured brand amongst owners ? I don't want to go HID, and prices for the top end bulbs are about 30-35 quid a pair.

What do people favour ? Osram / Philips / Ring ? Thanks in advance, Phil

I would go for Osram Nightbreakers Plus bulbs if I would use halogen.

The bulbs in my car are cack, I often turn them off and back on just to make sure they are on.

Really need to invest in new bulbs.

Phillips xtreme vision just have an edge over Osrams, not a lot in it though, use the Phillips in my Clio 172 road rally car, as the rules do not permit retro fitting hid.

Think I will fit R suffix hid kits in the leon though, they are much better than any ordinary bulb available.

Be very careful when fitting uprated bulbs, that they are low UV rated, for use with plastic headlamp lenses, if you fit ones that aren't your lenses will craze and be knackered.
