Car has also been raised about 10-20mm all round to stiffen the suspension up. Just try sittin on the front of my car it doesnt move ha ha.

The above has improved the handling and you can almost feel the braces working against the sides of the car aswell as the bushes as I turn in sharp. I still catch a little when cornering quite hard so hopefully the ARB will stop that and it should be more train like soon!

Oh and the ho box is removable for track and quarter mile use.

see when u raised ur car, did it stop rubbing, i remember me and u were getting the same problems from being so low.

tbh the idea of having a car that handles better than it looks is getting more up my street now cos its really catching the plastic inners now and the buffing round corners is annoying!

so by raising it will make it a bit stiffer u think?
oh and i have FK coilovers ;)

car looks good too btw

yes raising does do the job. So stiff on the front end but it's still catching slightly, I'll have to take a pic of how low it is now.

Strut braces were sourced on ebay from strutbracer, cheaper to buy both then just one!

Yep bought the pushes then pushed in with the aid if some fairy liquid and a vice :)

It's looking good mate, i've got a 2.0ltr 16v Cupra Sport, i'll be doing all these shortly!! What's planned next for yours?

Once the ARB is on thats it till next year. Spent enough on it this year and need to put some pennies together for xmas.

Shall finish it off early next year with some red cobra sidewinders, harness's and spray all my interior to get rid of that horrid grey colour!

u should try getting the mk2 facelift or mk3 interior dash for urs mate, imo ppl who spray their dashes are ppl with saxo's and i dont think it looks good, id need to see a pic before i comment on urs though.

my dash is the facelift dash and is a lovely gloss black all round inc. the sporty "bucket" style black seats.
its well dark in my car with limo tints on the rear and light/med tints on the front
not good for driving the backroads on a winters night...

u should look into the OEM dashes before spraying though, look nice imo

Does the mk3 dash fit straight into the mk2?

The best person to ask about that is "Roly", as he has done a complete interior swap with the mk3. From what I can remember, he said that size-wise it fits, BUT the mounting points are different, different wiring, The A pillars need to be modified, and the vents/heaters need to be modified a bit.
