well following on from this thread i started;

http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=106932

I went down south on Thursday and picked up the lcr. Took me two and half hours to get there but i suppose it was worth it :p

Drive back was good chance to get used to it, even though weather was pretty poor. All i can say is i love it. Only have the one picture at the min which was taken for the dealers advert, but will get some more taken tommorrow or monday when i given it wash and wax etc.

Already started the mods aswell, already fitted a 3/4 size front plate and a fabia rear wiper. Oh yeh and i've already got through two tanks of petrol, can't stay away from it :D :D :D

let me know what you think

Fantastic! :D Glad you're enjoying it :D

I love that red too, it would have been one of my first choices if I had not come from a red Celica.

Enjoy it, be careful in this weather, but enjoy it :D

Looks good! Wish my wheels were that tidy - must sort out a refurb for mine as soon as the weather improves...

awesome mate,

Just picked up my black LCR today. Love it to bits, and addicted to it like you hehe....

There is so much power there that i had it wheel spinning at 50mph in second gear which surpirsed me so much as i have come from 55bhp to 225bhp lol...

LOve it loads....Enjoy it Mate!!!

Know exactly what you mean, i got 100bhp more than in me old car so quite a bt faster - just makes me grin everytime i put me foot down lol :D

I'd like to see a pic of the 3/4 plate. Will that plate pass an MOT?

will get a picture from the front either tommorrow or monday when it's been washed. Not sure if the plate will pass an MOT as it doesn;t have the postcodes etc on the bottom but it still looks really good and tidys up the front end.

I think a few poeple from here may already have them fitted. Got it from Fancyplates for £10 which i thought was pretty good.

I need to clean my car, I remember when mine looked like that

Congratulations on picking the best colour ;)

To those posting about suddenly having lots more power than they used to, please take it easy - the roads are very greasy at the moment and you wouldn't want to put some nasty dents in your new pride and joys.

Great looking motor mate. Know what you mean about it putting a grin on your face, just a shame the roads are so damp and greasy at the moment!
