hey guys - been a while things went a little bit bad for me over the past few months so no internet and my baby went off the road. Car going back on the road in the next few weeks then finaly can start with the upgrades again. but my question is this. It has had the facelift bumpers put on side skirts have been ordered as well as a few little mods such as gear knob, gator, and still looking for a w8 light and fabia rear wipers. Got angel eyes on and such and will have spings and shocks to lower it shortly and still trying to decide on alloys they have to be 18" and black other than that i really can't decide. But now i want to get some extra power - what is the best way to go about this it currently has an induction kit and a crappy scorpian exhaust (i want this changing it came with the car)

obvioulsy i have heard the LCR injectors will fit straight into the LC - what gains would this return and would i need anything else changing to acheive this? also i have had a very good offer for a stage 2 remap - but what else would i need to allow this map? I am aware that i need a different downpipe but didn't want a decat so what other options do i have? and what else needs to be changed?

The injectors wont do anything on there own and are usually only needed with hybrid/big turbo conversions, stage two will need full exhaust turbo back, front mount IC, there is loads on this subject you would be better off doing a search and reading through the threads.

ok i have found the bit about a 4 bar pressure reg. Sry guys had plenty of motors but this is the first i have decided to mod. As i understand it i need it because of my current injectors yes? how much is the regulator and where would i get one from. Could i not just replace my injectors with some LCR injectors - would this then negate the need for the pressure regulator or would i still have to buy it? the reason i asked is because a m8 of mine has offered me some LCR injectors for £50 - obvioulsy i realise that it would run like a bag of spanners without remapping.

cool - not too bad then - unlike the FMIC i want lol.

I just want to get some more oomf well - alot more oomf was in mrvavavooms the other day and its so much more reactive than mine more pull etc. so now i have issues as i want mine like that. i would have an LCR but no way i can afford one till end of this year / start of next.

You want a turbo back system with sports cat then.

100 or 200 cell sports cat 2.5-3" downpipe to a 2.5" system [thats most aftermarket systems]

The best thing you can do is keep an eye on the forum sponsors section as they often have deals....think AMD are doing 20% off Miltek at GTI fest this weekend?

Yeah thats right the cat is part of the downpipe its all 1 piece.

There usually about £450 so if you could get a miltek with the 20% off thats quite a saving :)
