On one of my Borbets (they need a bloody good refurb before going on the car, and the rubber is 50 profile, I usually run 45's)

did a quick once over with the B&D Mouse just to take some of the crud off... looks like they should come up pretty well as I only spent about 10 mins on it before it started raining a tad too heavily to carry on, but I have untill spring to get them sorted :D

the easy -peasy way ;)
I do actually have a can of Nitromors in the shed... might actually do it that way if i dont get the chance to do it the hard work way. :D

Looking good! I did a set of wheels myself a while back and did it the the old fashioned elbow grease way, really was impressed with the results and got a perfect finish with a rattle can.

Keep plugging away, you'll get the result you want!

Jim, I bought them about five /six weeks ago and theyve been sat out back as Im in no major hurry with them, I want to put them on for next years show season, so as long as they're done for then, I'll be happy
:D

Ahhh plenty of time then!! Get em in the front room whilst your watching tv, will be prepped in no time!! :p

you need a giant smurf to do them properly John :D

Otherwise known as F2Spu in a boiler suit :)

He loves my wheels after spending about 5 hours shot blasting them when they were blue.

Right, seems like I may either be at footy OR rubbing down alloys tomorrow afternoon (weather dependant) .. also had to run an errand today, so whilst out and about and in the neck of the woods of my vinyl supplier, I thought it would be rude not to pop in, luckily enough, he had just enough to cover my order, so a shade under seven quid later, et viola...new roof vinyl has been purchased. should look very nice with the wheels when they are done , methinks

:D

already ? not last the winter well then ?
