... went really well especially the rear which was unbelievably easy. However, the car has lowered abit, but not 40mm. The handling is ALOT firmer which is nice :funk: But does it take a while for the springs to bed in properly to the correct lowering? Shocks and springs fitted btw.

Cheers

Cleaned the engine bay too if you can see it on that pic, came out really good imo, usually very grimey lol

No new lights yet mate but I was actually surprised how good they came out on that pic tbh. I would love some of those afterburner lights from Germany but first I've made sure what needed to be fixed is fixed for the remap. Remember I'm getting it in top condition for that :)

So do ya think the suspension will wear itself in down to the expected height? Or does the rear in that shot already look 40mm? I was hoping the wheels would fill the arches abit more tbh

How do the rear dampers fit into the turret? They arnt the old VW type with just one long thread at the end of the damper and about 14 cup chaped washers? lol They have a 2 bolt mounting now?

Edit: Oh yeah, and after the springs and dampers have beded in a little, it should sit a bit lower. How much did you pay for the kit? what make?

Yeah engine is cleaner (from memory)

It will settle down, give it a few weeks.

Good good :)

Now that the car has all the problems sorted, I was thinking of getting stock tail lights and tinting them for a cheap solution

Also, I have been offered this spoiler

I really like it. I think DPJ has one on here on his silver Leon. I was wondering whether spraying it black would suit as a nice contrast (seeing as the black front headlights match really well), or should I go with the car colour?

Surrey darling...
Really not a fan of those spoilers - although they do exactly what they say they will - spoil the car

Less is more IMO

Loving the colour though chap and those rims look sweet!

Did you fit new top mount bushes and bearings aswell?
If so these will take a bit of time to 'bed in' aswell.
Springs and shocks should settle.
Remember the stated drop is based on the standard Leon, yours being a LC will drop about 10-15mm less than stated drop.
