fitting a carbonfiber bonnet!!!

i'v got my self an carbonfiber bonnet that i think will look good on my yellow LCR (dad/mom think it will ).
i can fit it ok but thing i am unsure abot the rod to hold it up as there i no hole for a rod to go in2 . can any1 help or have pic of theres.

can you not fit a bonnet lifter (pneumatic one similar to boot struts)

think carbon only suits dark cars like RickC's mate

what i mean is the bonnet isnt as strong as the standard one and if you put the gas strut on you will not be able to close it for fear of snapping the side off the bonnet,

have you got the bonnet? have you fitted it?

ya i know i cant use the gas strut. so i'll be taking that off i, i can get the bonnet on/ take the gas sturt off ok. just how 2 put a arm in 2 hold it up when the bonnets open.
ya i'v got it, not not fitted it yet think i'll do it tomz as i nee some1 to hold the bonnet while i take it offf.
