hi all does any of you know why the climatronic flashes all 8's when i switch on the ignition?

mine does it as well. seems to work fine though. maybe its just because its all digital it needs to set itself before being used

Flashing climatronic control panel is usually a sign that the air con has died a death, mine cost me a fortune to try to repair in the end I gave up and just opened the windows.

If you do a search for flashing panel you will find lts of people with the same problem.

flashing normally means you have run out of gas & you need a re-gas. About £60 should sort it out.
I have to do mine every 12-18 months

if there is no gas would the compresser still kick in? or not

well you learn something new everyday.

I was told when I bought mine it needed re-gassing but £60 seems steep as my local HiQ does it for £40 last time I asked
