Ok so my friend pointed out that there was a dead wasp in my lights about 5 months ago, and while de-badging the car today I noticed more in there and in the other light too!

How on earth did they get in there and how do I go about getting them out?!

Makes three mate, this silly one is slap bang in the silver bit in the middle of my cluster. Sticks out like a saw thumb - hel be coming out soon tho! :D

Same here both the Cupra R and the Cupra TDI have dead flies and wasps. Havent got a clue how they go there!

Me too, been there since day one, big buggers aswell.

What do the guys do, collect these during the week and on friday after a liquid lunch stick these in the lights??

ditto. of all the bloody places my question isnt how they're there... but why??? i need to work out how to get my fronts open aswell. the wierdest thing was that i was cleaning my car a while ago and there was a blue bottle in the left rear cluster, by the time i'd finished waxing it was in the right one!!!!

if you all manage to get em out please save em for us

I have heard that spanish fly is quite handy for us greying middle aged should know betters :p

lol, looks like the amber pulled out of the ground in Jurassic park haha.

 the entire movie was based on the rear cluster of mk 2 escort:D

i have some hitch hikers too. we could drive backwards very fast whilst observing the front lights for insect burrowing
