Fluctuating RPM

Hi everyone, new member here & looking for some help/pointing in the right direction.

Over the past 2/3 days I’ve noticed when putting my foot down an letting off the acceleration the RPM needle is fluctuating/fluttering, probably around 100/200rpm jumps. Anybody else experienced the same or know what the cause is ?
My car is a 16’ cupra 290, stage 1 ECU & TCU from unicorn motor developments. Running with an r600 induction kit/boost pipe/turbo elbow & custom cat back exhaust.
Any help would be much appreciate. TIA.

Mines a 66 290 and does that its a manual aswell which led me to belive its the stupid cdv, just havent had time to take it out yet

Is that an issue more prone to manual rather than DSG? Not that knowledgable with these dq250 boxes all I know is it’s noted down as a common issue but doesn’t give a cause or fix

Have you checked your oil cap and dipstick are firmly in place? Have you any way of scanning for fault codes? (using anything except Crapista)
