I think my duel mass flywheel is on the way out (lots off vibration on idle) i have read on here about a single mass fixed flywheel,does anyone know if this is a seat part and is it cheeper than the £600 duel mass unit?

oh yes i have tryed searching but to no avail.

The SMF for your car is not a Seat part. Helix make one which you can by from Allard Motor Sport. Click on the link below and scroll down to REF:74.

The SMF will be cheaper then £600 but if you are not running serious power ( 230 bhp + ) i don`t see why you should need one. I would be very surprised if a new DMF was £600 anyway unless you where getting one though a dealer. Try these companies and see what price they give you.

well i think my flywheel is starting to suffer from the effects of a hybrid turbo, and lots of torque, but tbh
In all the time i have worked in the warranty department, we have had 3 flywheels back, and none of them have been or had a manufacturer deffect. These flywheels have been off vag cars aswell.

Does anyone know if my 03 1.9tdi 110bhp Toledo have a DMF fitted as standard? and if so what price would I pay for full clutch assambly of good quality?
