i hear from a few people that an FMIC might not be as beneficial as some might think?


why is this.


increased surface area therefore increased lag?

surely an FMIC can only be good for turbos?

I believe the benefit of a FMIC is prolonged performance rather than BHP gains. I hear that when mapped in you get more torque and boost cank be raised a little.

more cold air going into the engine - less heat soak - less CF's

well a sorted fmic i can only see pros, cooler air equals bigger bang and bigger smiles
