Hi guys, I have a Leon 1.8t AUQ.
I plan on fitting a custom 2.5" intercooler piping setup and a welly cooler but I could do with a bit of advice.
I know that I need to re mount the MAP sensor on the side mount and I've found a map sensor boss that comes on a small section of pipe.
My issue, as I will not be doing any welding is the pipe that goes from the DV to the metal intercooler pipe at the back of the engine and also the thinner one from the N75 to the same metal pipe.
Basically I just want to know. Does it matter where in the intake system I plumb these pipes to? I've seen some self seal take off bungs that would do the job but they are around £25 each and I need 2 of them, plus the map sensor boss at around £30. But I'd like to know if it's possible to just run those 2 lines straight into the intake manifold after the map?
