Fog light warning light on dash

I have a 60 plate ecomotive and ive noticed that when front fog lights are on there is no warning light on dash but when i put rear on i get a yellow fog light symbol.. Should i have one when front fog lights are on

No, it's only displayed on the right hand switch, should be green when there on.

Which is good for me, the wife doesn't know i have them on.

Yeah, I get a yellow symbol on the dashboard when I turn the rear fog light on as well, but nothing comes on with the front fog lights. It's normal.

As said the illuminated indicator is on the light switch not the instrument cluster.
