fog lights

all right, quick question

How do you get to the fog light bulbs? leon mk 1 Do you have to jack the car up to get behind them and unclip them or can you just pull them out from the front.

It is getting foggy in east london and i got no fog lights at all, might rap it round a tree on the way home.....

You need to pull the black trim off (its just clipped in) and then you will see some screws undo these and the fog light will pull out

Well I don't know if it has been glued in of if someone is using Jedi mind tricks but the plastic sound will not come out!!!! I tried pulling it towards me, I tried long nose pliers and would not move. I was almost going to kick the car I was so pissed off. ( Well wanted to ) Any one got any ideas......

Pull the mesh from the edges and it will come out, probably best to try the outer edge nearest the wheel. Try to flex it just a tiny bit as this should dislodge the catch.

Once that is out the fog lights come out really easily, they're almost slotted in to some cut outs. Life them out, remove the loom and take the plastic cap off the back if I remember right.
