folding mirrors

Hi guys,

Quick question.

I have a 2010 Ibiza 1.4 sport and it has the little graphic under the mirror switch to fold the mirrors up. When i turn it to this nothing happens.
Its not a basic spec car, having parking sensors and i thought if its got the little pic it should work. Am i missing something.... does it only work certain times- ignition on ?

The key has to be turned to make it work, engine doesn't need to be on just have the key turned

Hmm that's odd tried it a few times but nothing happens.
It's got the little picture of it at the bottom. Maybe an add on the previous owner didn't get?? Anyway to find out if it's meant to be there and broken or of it's actually not installed?

can you fold your mirrors by hand, if not they are electric.

if they are electric, you have probably that control module damaged and it needs replacement

Yea can fold them up vertically by hand. My landrover fold up by hand and by the button??

No, the Ibiza electric ones can't be done by hand.

Probably the switch broke and the previous onwer put that one.
