forge 007p recirc service

I was about to service my forge 007p tonight. Ive got the old sort 077p, and can't unscrew the top.

Just wondered if anybody has any ideas on how to get the top off ? It's so tight,don't think it's been off in years.

Ive been on the phone to them today,he told me to take it off and poor a little hot water on it. Still no luck,even my friend tried so ordering a new one tomorrow
