Forge Blow Off Adaptor Cupra/Bocanegra....worth it?

looking at buying a blow off adaptor, just wanted to know if anybody else with one fitted would recommend it or not?

how loud is it? i had a forge splitter fitted to my mk4 fr and was disappointed with how quiet it was. seen a few vids on youtube and seems to be quite a bit louder.

also, is this the correct one i will need? i assume so, only thing giving me doubts is the fact it says "Please note: For the 2008 1.4 Turbo Only engines please see FMDV14T"

would be perfect! you've also got a milltek haven't you lol? need to have a listen to that before i disregard a custom job.

probably the same set up i'll end up with, maybe the forge over the itg, but i've been reading the ITG is a bit better.

I've heard mixed reviews on the forge one, some change allegiance to ITG or VWR whereas some swear by the forge. That polo Gti VWR one looks amazing though!

I'm the same with the 1.2 tsi forge one cause at £200 ill be annoyed if its not loud. Listened to some on YouTube but you can't really gauge how loud it is.

aye i found that with my splitter mate, watched a few videos on youtube and it seemed quite loud, but then when i got it it sounded pathetic....

the 1.8t is designed to hold its pressure though, so im hoping a blow off on this will sound a lot nicer.

The spacer is loud...the BOV kit is insanely loud

Same I had a forge split r on my a3 1.8t was quiet and ran s**t so the fact it's so much money I will be pissed off lol

Fitted the forge abov to my boc 3 weeks back wwiith the harder spring and it does turn heads lol

The harder spring? Is that the spare one that comes in the box? Thought you had to be mapped to put that in

It thought the BOV went on a little to long so I swapped it for the other one seems better, but I Didnt know it was for mapped cars, well I'm unmapped and seems fine lol

Might give it a go myself actually, only worry would be that it closes too quickly leaving too much pressure in the turbo, might give it a go though
