My mate has a 60 plate LCR and he had. Spacer and didn't sound much just a slight hiss but the BOV on mine just sounds great only thing is because the ibizas are Dsg you don't get a dump on upshift only when you take your foot of the accerlator bit if u drop a gear with the paddles it dumps

Hi Guys,

I Dont mean to hijack the thread, But I have been reading about the BOV's and stuff for the 1.4 TSI (180PS) over the last few days and have seen people talking about a kit, and just a spacer? What is the difference? Which one is this one? http://www.forgemotorsport.co.uk/content.asp?inc=product&cat=&product=FMDV14TSI . Would the kit come with any other parts that are needed? As I would be surprised if other parts are needed to be honest :S

Personally I do not mind the sound of them, and would be quite interested in pussing one on my Cupra myself. But obviously I dont know what one is what...

Hi no it will not close faster due to the solenoid controlling it.

I would keep the spring that came in the valve then change it when you remap the car.

Iirc it says in the instructions an additional spring is supplied for cars with an increased turbo pressure

I didn't read the instructions really, just used it for the boost pipes that was it
