Just fitted the forge FMDVSPLTR dump valve. Its the one they sujest for my cupra but it sounds like crap. I dont hear any thing what so ever. Have i set it up wrong or have i just paid £150 for nothin apart from a bit of alloy with forge wrote on the side. It comes with a blank to make it fully recirculating or a trumpet to make it a blow off. I have the trumpet on and it sounds like my granny doin a silent fart. What is goin on????

Have you been in touch with Forge to explain the problem before slagging them off, their customer service is second to none.

yea i agree give forge a chance before you start saying stuff like the a simple phone call will make all the difference.anyway if you had waited there is a gb on at the moment for them for a very good (less) price

you really expect them to be at work at 22.03?
have you adjusted it properly?is the first thing they will ask.
have you read the instructions? is second.
they are a very helpful bunch of folks,lets hope you are man/woman enough to come back and apologise if/when you haven't set it up right

Well i will find out tomorrow but it was described to make that distinct whoose nose and it dont make a thing. I am just a little pissed of at bein £150 out of pocket for no better performance or no cool sound.

Trust me i have one on my cupra 180bhp no remap and i hear mine and so does my friends when ive pulled up outside theirs homes.

I have followed the instructions they gave me. If it is sorted tomorrow i will be the first to apologise. Was really wantin to hear from any one else with a ibiza cupra that had fitted one .

IIRC you have to fit them the opposite way round to the standard DV?

lol im still laughing that your annoyed that they arent working at 10 oclock at night, give them a chance to resolve your issues, some people have mentioned that it responds alot better under more pressure (i.e. more boost, remap) but i cant confirm that, forges customer service is second to none and no doubt they will offer you a refund if your not happy so shut up and suck it up until the morning!
