I just bought a spliter r valve of a friend for £20 (bargin) had to have it just to try it and well pleased with it i got the bypass n249 done and smoothed air box and it sounds realy nice my mate has set it up for me and got to say no problems with it (yet)

bargin but put the blanking plate on and get an open cone filter it sounds the nuts an isnt laggy and doesnt make it sound like a bus

Remove the sound proofing from under the bonnet it sounds even better

Trust me mate when I had mine it was much louder once I'd removed the sound proofing. Before you could just about hear it from the outside of the car, but once I took proofing off you could here the dump sound before I got to you.

just got a reserc dv on mine and sounds alot better with no sound proofing! dv doesnt sound as good with the bypass tho! thinkin of getting split r to make it sound better i cant get enough of the kashhhhhhhhh

ebay do them for £98 pound any one know if anywhere else do them cheaper! oh yeah and is it worth doing! (and before anyone ses it, yes i do what that chavy sound!!)

think might take the sound proofing out try thatit can always go back in. dose any one know if forge sell the blanking plate on there own as my mate never gave me one.

Had the SPLT R on mine, but I've swapped it for a Baileys DV30 (alot louder). I've also taken off the sound proofing, that really helps.
Had the SPLT R on for 6 months and never had a problem.

dont surpose you have still got the split r dv have you

ive got a forge dv pipercross panel filter and drilled the airbox.taken the sound deadening out and it sounds ok.........going to leave it like that as im not paying out anymore Money

Drue replace the OE feed pipe to the airbox with a 3" one and it will sound better and get more air into the airbox

i have got a cone filter filter on mine so i have no probs with getting the sound its just that since i did the bypass the dv sounds abit flat! im loving the bypass tho so dont realy want to change that!!
