hi, just purchased a forge splitter dump valve for my ibiza cupra (57 plate) not sure how to get the standard clips off the hoses and whether or not they can be re-used or do i need jubilee clips? i hear alot about the 007 dump valve but not so much about the splitter any1 have any feedback?

you need a big set of pliers to squeeze the clip then move it down the pipe its easy as long as you have the right size pliers. you can use jubilee clips to replace them if you want they will do the same job but the original clips are easy to re-use. i have the splitter valve fitted to my car. pleased with it as it does not make too much of a tscchhh noise when you let off the throttle and best of all you can adjust it so it dumps your boost when you want it to. install it exactly how the instructions say and you weill have no problem with it!

cheers mate have it fitted now really pleased with it but still not to sure on how many turns???? i have it at about 20???

ive got mine bout 35 turns in.doesnt give off much noise but ive noticed it holds boost better.does yours give off much noise?how have you got it installed?noticed if you have it too little turns you get plenty of noise but wastes a lot off boost!i have heard if you want more noise you will have to get an induction kit. you can then hear the recirculating air that way as well as what you are dumping to atmospere. im thinking about getting a de-cat pipe for mine. have you heard of any places selling one for the 1.8t? cant seem to find any.

i have put mine fully recirculating and its a bit louder lol. ive heard bad things bout the induction kits so im gettin a green pannel filter n gonna smooth the air box. no not heard of anywhere im afraid.

i will give it a try mate fully recirculating yeah?. nah mate you cant really hear it over the engine, not very loud you see!
