I work at fleetlands in gosport!!! Also I said the exact same as you when I first fitted my split r I loved it and it won't throw up any lights on the dash all of a sudden one day you will try and overtake somone and lose boost!! 6 psi max!! That's when you will hate it.
Lol well when that day comes ill just turn on and off again, or lob on the 007p which is still in the car! But what makes it suddenly do this then?

anyway, i have the cupra 1.8T 180.
Im looking to get 250BHP or there abouts out of it (Must beat my old 328i sport lol)
So im looking into a REVO remap atm, stage 1 then stage 2 later on. Ive seen miltek do a system for this so maybe thats something ill look into also.
Im ordering a 007p now as we speak, as from what ive heard here, it gives no hassle and is highly rated.
also along the way will be some coilovers, i ran APEX RDX on my BMW, although VERY firm, they improved the handling greatly after setting up correctly.
Induction. something ill have to look in to, as i dont know whats best for Turbo cars, ive noticed that these engines get very hot under the hood, so strapping a cone on obviously wont do, sucking in all that hot air, so maybe an enclosed Carbon fibre CAI might improve the sound and maybe some extra BHP? no idea.
a whole list of things really, but mainly the engine. Its quite flat after 4k which is annoying, as my 328i after swapping to an m50 inelt pulled hard all the way to redline which is what i like!!

You will need to get rid of the fault code 17705 aswell as the car still wont feel the same after turning off and on again. Soon as i had that code the car was still sluggish till i erased it. it wont be worth the hassle after a month, tops!!!
