Also with the 007/008 I know if you run an open cone filter you get the atmospheric noise when dumping but with an airbox and uprated panel filter do you get any atmospheric noise??

You won't get any with the airbox and panel filter mate you might hear it slightly now and then. I had a panel filter in my golf.

So my current car has a splitter r on it and im now gonna fit a 008 instead.

So do they all need remapping to fit a splitter r as wondering if there is a possibility that my car has been remapped to clear a MAF fault in the past??

And also if my car has been mapped for clearing and adjusting flow for MAF sensor would that affect the sensors signal by fitting a 008 back to it??
