Forge TIP

Im might be goin for the forge tip soon as i just fitted this AEB one yesterday and i can feel a difference in sound and a slight gain...
So i should imagine the forge one is a lot better..

Forge is better as it replaces the top part too.

yeah the spooling of the turbo is really loud now...And with the airfilter is a nice combo..

Just need a D/p and cat..

Yeah the forge tip is better but for the price i got this i cant complain...Does the job imho..

But will be gettin the forge one after christmas...
I just need to source a lambda sensor 1st..

Danny - you'll get a lamda sensor for £100 from the dealers, I was gonna go for a 2nd hand one for mine but that could have been goosed as well

So there around 100quid for a new one....So atleast ive got an idea on how much they are..

think i will order one this month then if it makes a big difference. was going save for a blueflame turbo back next but will have a TIP 1st now.

Well, all fitted. All I will say about this fitting is NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!! haha

Must admit its a cool mod but fitting can be a b*stard! be prepared to lose some skin.

As i have just found out! took me from 12pm to 4pm just now fanny around with the bottom hose clip and the bolt just above the gear selecter.

Sounds nice now though, you can tell there is much better flow into the turbo.

bah your all big wimps! you just gotta take it steady, i didn't scuff my knuckles once, and it went on nicely after a few minutes of faffing! and i'd not even had my car long so i didn't really know my way around the engine bay.

as for performance, main thing i noticed was the power doesn't tail off so much at higher rpm, and the noise is cool!!!

i got a front lambda from Formula 1 for about £70

does a aluminium tip sounds better than a silicon tip?or does it makes no difference to that?
