Forge tip

Hey guys fitted my tip pipe today and seemed to go fine till the end. basicly i was trying to fit the lowest hose into the tip where the metal join piece is and i strugled like hell and only managed to get it half on. anytips on this as its bugging me now?

Bit of wd40 on it mate as it'l burn off with the heat anyway

i did try that but the metal join is about 3mm bigger then the pipe. i'll have another go tommorrow
