Well after having an ITG and selling it I would have tried a twin intake next. It does depend what you want I found the ITG too noisy and although 5000 rpm up it pulled much harder I found it bogged down lower rpm.
There is a thread with a review on each.
If you want darth vader talking to you from your glovebox every trip then ITG is your ideal intake but I found it annoyed me after only 1 month.

It all depends on the way the twintake is installed. If you do it the way forge says it;s correct. It is very noisy (the intake takes air from the fender which acts as a resonator towards the passenger compartment. This makes the twintake very noisy (I however do like the sound).

The much better way is to create a duct on the front (next to the fog light). And connect the intake hose direct to the forge right air filter (the one that normally is connected to the fender.
In this way the system gets really cold air and it becomes very quiet on the inside of the car (not on the outside ofcourse.....)

No stick with the usual intakes that are actually designed on the 2.0tfsi engine not some universal crap.

I've got the Twintake installed on my FR TFSi. Very noticeable increase in low-end torque...

i had the ITG and there is a huge increase in he top end, but i also slightly agree there was a small loss low down but not a bad loss by any means. driven above 4k it didnt make a difference.

that said i think i would have to give the twintake a try if it gives the low down grunt. much more accessible in everyday driving
