On a side note my car has ACC and lane assist, looked at retrofitting travel assist is it a case of capacitor steering wheel + coding or is there mode modules or components required?

No, Capacitor wheel and Coding
Nice one thanks 👍🏻 I'm guessing capacitor wheels are the ones with the travel assist button

Ive done some more research seems the heated part i can just leave the cable unplugged and it won't affect anything.

Found a wheel and about to purchase but wanted to make sure first, do you need to have front parking sensors for travel assist? My Formentor has rear sensors only, it does however have ACC and lane assist.

I also found a thread regarding the coding using OBD11 so hopefully that side is sorted too.

Thanks guys

I remember this Overtaking on the Right issue on my 71 plate V2

I ended up fixing it with OBD11

DEACTIVATE OVERTAKING RIGHT PREVENTION
- Select Control Unit 13
- Select “Long Coding
- Select “Overtaking_right_prevention”
- Select “Deactivated”
I found an interesting thing that I think links my theory the car thinks it's in Spain during this issue on my drive to the dealer today.
ACC on and worked fine no over take right prevention then it randomly did it and i noticed the speed recognition change from 70 to 110 and the. The issue ove overtake right prevention occurs.
Be interested to see later if it still skips back to KPH and therefore issue occurs again

I remember seeing some issues early on with cars switching between mph and kph which was an early bug, think that had to do with the speed sign recognition while people had ACC on.

Definitely seems like you need that software update, i'd suggest not using ACC until it is updated.

So the update worked on the infotainment it's now up to date however they found a calibration issue with the drive assist camera and think that could be the ACC issues.

I'm somewhat sceptical as I cant see how a camera out of calibration would cause it to flip flopping between mph to kph which is why the over take right prevention occurs.

Getting it booked in under warranty to get it static calibrated so will update when it's been done.

Get this sorted before I retrofit travel assist, steering wheel ordered and OBD11

any ideas?
The only thing I wasn't able to do with OBD11 during the wheel install is actually select travel assist and capactior steering wheel options in Module 13 (this is due to the something went wrong error that persists in this module) as I said the travel assist has been working fine and the option is or was available in the car

There is no KLR option in gateway (I've screen spotted all options) is it hidden in one of these.
KLR is set to coded in A5
Activate the KLR in the Gateway

Ahh I will connect back to the car and try.

You may well have saved the day Cairus my friend.

do you have any idea why Module 13 won't let me make any adjustments? I reached out to OBD directly and on their forum but no replies or help which is really disappointing 😔
it is not coding but adaptation

Scurety Code? Diagnostic Mode? What you need To Change?
I have the SFD set to auto enable and have the pro VAG sub scription to do long coding etc.
I want to activate travel assist in Module 13 and install capacitive steering wheel in Module 13.
These keep coming back something went wrong, weirdly it's just this Module.
I was able to carry out changes in A5 and other modules.
