Good news mate! Who is your broker? I ordered on the 02/06 but haven't heard anything yet.
A stated October build date by a broker won’t be a locked in build date it will only be rough guidance. It won’t be until august time before the build date will actually be locked in.
Just had an email update after my phone call yesterday to advise me Build week has been scheduled for 01/07/21. Happy days?
When I first made enquiries before placing order back at the end of April. I was told September by dealers and 12/14 weeks from the leasing company. Pretty much what I expected thereabouts. Was getting a little concerned with the chip shortage but overall don’t think this impacted on predicted timescales.
I ordered a VZ2 310 on the 14th June, and have been advised by Cupra that there‘s a possible lead time of 18-24 weeks. Although I‘m lead to believe that this a generic timescale they give everyone just now.
TBF you may have got a cancellation in the same spec (I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much just in case as I ordered in the 2nd week of May).
When I ordered (start of may) they had cars reserved due to be built the end of may, for delivery in July. Also I don’t know why it says I’m in the US when I’m in the UK!
Do you have a VPN on? I wondered why mine was Italy, then I realised it was turned on.
No I thought this too but it’s off- it says EU now but Brexit happened as far as I’m aware!
Yeah mine went to EU as well for some reason! Weird. Mines now back in the UK but my VPN is still active
Just had an update on my build time from the dealer. Looks like it's nowhere near as long as I was initially told from Cupra themselves. I was quoted 18-24 weeks, which would mean November/December, but have an official date of week 32 which is August so should be ready for collection in September. Happy days
