I’ll try to get answers to all those - I’ve got a few decent journeys planned with different styles of driving so will hopefully get some mpg figures for city, motorway and country road drivingDoes the car remember the mode it was left on and if it does, does it open the exhaust valves after warming up in Cupra mode.
Did the wheel hubs get rusty on the test car?
Compared to Leon Mk3 FR, how is the ride comfort and steering feel?
What was your long term normal usage mpg. I've seen some reviewers show MPG in the range of 23-24 mpg and then some others show mpg over 35.
The one we’ve been given is in Midnight Black (I’m familiar with this colour as my Cupra R was also doomed with the same colour) and the interior is the Petrol Blue Nappa leather with copper stitching.Congarts. Which color did you get?
Not a massive fan of the fake sound at all when in Cupra mode. It’s like a ‘here’s what the v5 would sound like inside and outside if it came to the UK’ - but it still makes me think I’m an F1 driver! What’s the condition of the bolsters on the drivers seat after you’ve got in and out of it a few times?
Very soft leather (which I’m not used to) and mine is showing signs of creasing after getting in it maybe 3-4 times.
What do you think of the “Fake” sound in the cabin in Sport or Cupra modes?

Yeah definitely, there will be plenty of pictures and measurements to demonstrate - will have a child seat as a test too. Please may I ask you to take a photo of the rear legroom, ideally with the Driver's seat in it's rear most position? And perhaps let us know if an adult or teenager can fit in the rear in such arrangement?
I am just trying to gauge how much grief I will get off the kids when we all go out in the car together......haha
I’ll certainly test what Alexa can do and feedback. If you are able to test and use Alexa. How does it work in the car? Is the Alexa app able to call other Alexas you own?
Are you able to remotely start AC using Cupra app on the VZ 310hp car?
Please check if it is possible to fit two people next to a child seat on the back. I'm sure it would be tight, but is it impossible or just uncomfortable.Yeah definitely, there will be plenty of pictures and measurements to demonstrate - will have a child seat as a test too.
Yeah I will do - I suspect it’ll be uncomfortable but looks can be deceiving! The child seat is quite big so it’ll be a good test, especially for families or people wanting to start a family. Please check if it is possible to fit two people next to a child seat on the back. The car is wider than a Leon so it might offer a bit more space when the child seat is installed.

So after driving 367 miles, there’s 50 miles left in the tank and I’ve averaged 35.8mpg. 90% of the driving was on motorways in Comfort or Eco (set in Individual), and had the occasional play in Cupra mode.
410 miles from a 55 litre tank isn’t too bad - it’s not too dissimilar to the Mk3 Cupra 290/R I’ve have previously.
Thank you. I've seen one reviewer report similar number when driving "normally". A lot of other reviews were showing much worse MPG, I guess not many people want to spend 3 hours of relaxed highway driving to get better MPG for a review. So after driving 367 miles, there’s 50 miles left in the tank and I’ve averaged 35.8mpg. 90% of the driving was on motorways in Comfort or Eco (set in Individual), and had the occasional play in Cupra mode.

It’s done just under 3,000, and I imagine it’s been tested quite a bit by various people so well and truly bedded in.Wow better than I had expected. Is that a new/low mile engine?
I’m going to fill up and then do some A road driving for the rest of the time, to get some proper figures, and it probably won’t be leaving Cupra mode eitherThank you. Can you test self parking system, especially parallel. I've seen one video of it, but it looked slow.
Also, what FOV does the reversing camera have.
