Found a split pipe - but what pipe is it?

cool, more MPG? I'll leave it as it is then ;-)

i did actually notice exhausty smell in the cabin sometimes. didnt notice rough idling though.

i'll order a pipe today, dont suppose its great to drive around with this split pipe, but is it mega dangerous/bad for the engine if i do since i need to use the car over the next couple of days before I will get the chance of changing this pipe.

well, the way i see it, the smell has been there for months and so has the lack of power. so i'm prob well on the way to deadsville already. whats another couple of journeys? ;-)

hopefully the pipe will be delivered today. just got to work out how to fit the ruddy thing.

its easy bud i did mine last weekend (BAM) there is only one way to fit it, you need replacement jubille clips. and the best way to remove the one use clips is to ust a pair of side cutters to grip underneith the crimped part and work it loose with a wee bit of force!
